OPTIL ist ein breit wirksames Insektizid aus der Gruppe der Anthranil-Diamide, das 200 g/l Chlorantraniliprol als Suspensionskonzentrat (SC) enthält. Es fungiert als Ryanodin-Rezeptor-Antagonist, stört die normale Muskelkontraktion und führt bei kauenden Schadinsekten durch Kontakt oder Fraß zu Lähmung und Tod. Das Produkt bekämpft verschiedene Raupen (Lepidoptera) und Käferlarven (Coleoptera) wie Maiszünsler, Kohleule, Kartoffelkäfer und Apfelwickler in einer Reihe von Kulturen, darunter Mais, Kohlgemüse, Wurzelgemüse und Obst.
