1. Who we are and what these terms cover

This website is run by Life Scientific Ltd, Block 4, Belfield Office Park, Beech Hill Road, Clonskeagh, Dublin 4, Ireland. Contact: info@lifescientific.com.

These terms apply when you use lifescientific.com and its free data services:

  • the MCP server at /api/mcp, which AI apps such as ChatGPT and Claude can connect to;

  • the JSON API at /api/v1;

  • the plain-text versions of our pages (.md addresses, llms.txt and llms-full.txt).

By using the website or these services, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use them.

2. Product information is not advice

The website and the data services give general information about our products and their registrations. They do not give agronomic, legal or professional advice.

  • The product label is the authoritative source. Always read the label and product information before use.

  • A product is approved only in the countries, on the crops and for the uses that its registration in that country permits. Check the registration where you will apply the product.

  • We work to keep the information correct and current, but registrations change. Information may be incomplete or out of date.

3. AI assistants

If you connect our MCP server to an AI app, the app sends your questions to our services and writes the answers. The provider of that app, not Life Scientific, operates it, under its own terms and privacy policy.

Answers written by an AI app can be wrong, even when our data is correct. Check every answer against the product label before you act on it.

4. Using our data services

The data services are free, read-only and need no account or key. When you use them:

  • Keep within the rate limits, and do not try to get around them.

  • Do not attack, overload or interfere with the website or the services.

  • If you show our product information to others, name Life Scientific as the source, link to the product page, and do not change registration numbers, doses, pre-harvest intervals or other regulatory facts.

We can limit or block access that breaks these terms or harms the services.

5. Intellectual property

The content, design, logos and product names on this website belong to Life Scientific or to its licensors. Product names are trademarks. Except as these terms allow, you may not copy, publish or sell our content without our written permission.

6. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or stop the website or any data service at any time, without notice. We may also change what data the services return.

7. Liability

As far as the law allows, Life Scientific is not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the website or the data services, or from relying on their information without reading the product label.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that the law does not allow us to limit or exclude.

8. Privacy

How we handle personal data is in our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy. The data services do not need an account. To apply rate limits and keep the services secure, we process the IP address of each request.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you continue to use the website or the services after a change, you accept the new terms.

10. Law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. The courts of Ireland have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
